Photography and I
My interest in photography started when I was young. I caught myself viewing objects in artistic composition, but unfortunately lacked the equipment and technique to translate it into a photograph.
In 2005 I purchased a camera with enough technical features to start developing technique. Unfortunately, after two and a half years of use the camera died. On the brighter side it enabled me to make the jump into the DSLR realm, and in April 2008 I purchased a Canon EOS 40D.
I thrive on photographing the natural, scenic, interesting, and inspirational elements. The art of composing a subject is a constant, but welcome challenge.
About Me
I was born in 1983 and have lived in Salem, Oregon my entire life. In high school I focused my education around computer technology, and furthered it by receiving my Associates Degree from a local community college. Currently, I work at an education facility supporting computers. I also regularly volunteer time to a public bible ministry service.
In 2004, I married a beautiful and loving woman. I thank my wife for encouraging me to continue my passion of photography and also helping point out opportune subjects. Without her, I believe I wouldn't posses the same level of creativity or enthusiasm.
